| Understanding What Blue Ribbon registatation means In the past it has been the goal of the WBA to sponsor Dog Shows. To inspire breeders amd compitition to breed better dogs. This may work in the fiuture but at this time we fall short of our goals. We have decided to use the Blue Ribbin system. This will motivate breeders to improve their breeing program which may already meet the standard of the WBA. Buyers Breeders and Pet owners alike will have a clear picture of what they are getting, nothing is 100% but this is better then nothing. I would rather buy dogs from lines that have been screened and backed by a Vet. and a registry like the WBA then to take a chance from breeders using registries that have no standard they back up. The WBA stands behind its Blue Ribbon Reg. Dogs to the utmost highest quality breeding program available. All these dogs have to be screened and checked for these problems. It will take some time but in the end all will have a better breeding proram. Healthier dogs and registry that is proud of its dogs and members. Puppies in a litter born of one Blue Ribbon parent recieve 25 points puppies in a litter born of both Blue Ribbon parents recieve 50 points A dog/bitch that has met all the reqiurements recieves 100 points This dog/bitch has been screaned by a vet. and can be used for breeding under the Blue Ribbon System. Pigmentation, Eyes clear of desease, Hips x-rayed normal, sensativity test. easy breathing. Active. |
